Metal Gear Solid: Rising

Metal Gear Solid: Rising is an action game ahead of the video series Metal Gear. Rising is a coherent set of events between Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. But the producer notes that development is focused less on stealth and sword fights to know more about the action that allows players to engage enemies in direct combat, if they wish. The players still have some freedom to play the game as a stealth title, although stealth elements will focus on high speed and vigilance of Raiden.

The main feature of the game is called Zan-datsu which includes the cutting of the enemies and to "adopt" parts of bodies of digestion of cyborgs and robots. Things that can be applied to the life, energy, parts, ammunition, items, and sometimes the information. "Cutting" the sword of complex tactics, allowing players to engage in war against a third person, as well as accurately slash enemies and objects "at will" along the geometrically using the "free-slicing" mode. Almost all objects in the game can be cut, including vehicles and enemies, even if the elements of the context has been deliberately limited to structures such as columns and walls to facilitate a good match. Free cutting mode is similar to other forms of transport with earlier versions, but produces a specific targeting reticle in the form of a transparent blue plane, which can be rotated and moved, tracing the orange lines across the surfaces of objects to indicate exactly where were cut.
